I LOVE to blog stalk and don't post very often (working on that this year), well, I headed over to April Larremore's blog Chalk Talk at and read the MOST EXCITING news......(insert drum roll here)......She is now going to be blogging about Pre-K!  Her new job is a pre-k instructional specialist.
I am thrilled to hear this news!
I have been a preschool special education teacher  for 17 years (autism/preschool resource specialist for a couple of those)!!
I guess you can say this has inspired me to find the time to share things I do in my classroom.  Hoping to download some pictures from this week soon and get the posting party started!

Sally Sound Muncher

Here is my sweet Sally the Sound Muncher that my class loves so!  Do you have a sound muncher?  Maybe we could start a Linky Party?!  Can someone in blog-land help me out???
We feed her things (objects & pictures) that begin with the sound/letter of the week.  I started having kiddos bring in things to add to our letter boxes a few years ago and they continue to grow!  I will post some pictures of the letter boxes soon.
Next to Sally is our Math Muncher (Piggy the Pig).
